Daylight Objects Hover Over Campinas Brazil in 1996

In the spring of 1996 residents of Campinas Brazil reported seeing multiple unidentified flying objects during daylight hours.

Eyewitnesses described disc shaped craft that hovered and then accelerated at incredible speeds performing maneuvers impossible for known aircraft.

Several people captured the event on video showing the objects clearly against the daytime sky.

Local police received numerous calls and some officers reportedly observed the phenomena themselves.

The sightings lasted for several minutes and involved anywhere from three to seven objects according to different accounts.

No official explanation was ever provided by Brazilian authorities despite the volume of reports and available footage.

This incident remains one of the most compelling daylight UFO cases from South America in the 1990s.
