Disc Shaped UFO Photographed Hovering In Romanian Forest

On August 18 1968 in the dense Hoia Baciu forest near Cluj Napoca Romania photographer Emil Barnea witnessed and photographed a metallic disc shaped unidentified flying object hovering in the sky.

The object appeared smooth and reflective with no visible means of propulsion or markings. Barnea managed to take several clear photographs before the craft ascended rapidly and disappeared.

This incident is one of the earliest documented UFO sightings in Romania and the forest has since become known for repeated reports of anomalous lights strange sounds and other unexplained phenomena.

Local residents and visitors have described similar disc or orb shaped objects moving silently through the trees. Official investigations were limited during the era but the Barnea photographs remain among the most credible visual evidence from that period.

The Hoia Baciu case highlights how UFO sightings occur worldwide across different cultures and environments adding to the global catalog of well documented incidents.
