Forestry Worker Struck By UFO Beam And Vanishes In 1975
On November 5 1975 seven forestry workers including Travis Walton were driving home from a job site near Snowflake Arizona when they encountered a bright glowing disc shaped object hovering above the road.
Walton approached the craft on foot and was struck by a powerful beam of light that knocked him unconscious. His terrified coworkers fled the scene believing he had been killed.
When they returned with help Walton had vanished without a trace. An extensive search by authorities and volunteers yielded no immediate results.
Five days later Walton reappeared disoriented and dehydrated on the outskirts of a nearby town. He recounted being taken aboard the craft by strange humanoid beings and subjected to medical examinations before being released.
The incident was investigated by local police and the National Enquirer which offered a reward for information. Multiple polygraph tests administered to Walton and his coworkers supported their accounts with no indications of deception.
The case remains one of the most famous and well documented abduction stories in UFO history drawing worldwide attention from researchers and skeptics alike.
