Glowing Disc Hovers Silently Over Long Beach Harbor in 1953

In the summer of 1953 residents along the Long Beach California coastline reported a striking daytime sighting of a disc shaped unidentified flying object.

Multiple eyewitnesses described a metallic silver disc approximately 30 feet in diameter that hovered silently above the harbor for several minutes.

The object then tilted at an angle and accelerated rapidly out over the Pacific Ocean disappearing from view within seconds.
