Glowing Object Hovers Over Hartford Connecticut in 1965

On a clear summer evening in 1965 residents of Hartford Connecticut reported seeing a bright glowing object suspended motionless in the night sky.

Police officers on patrol were among the first to notice the strange sight and radioed descriptions of an orb-like craft that emitted no sound and showed no visible propulsion.

Witnesses described the object as approximately the size of a small aircraft yet it remained perfectly still before accelerating rapidly and vanishing.

Official reports were filed with local authorities and the incident was noted in contemporary newspapers as one of several unexplained aerial phenomena that year.

No conventional explanation such as aircraft balloons or satellites was ever confirmed for the sighting.

The event remains a documented case in UFO research archives highlighting credible eyewitness testimony from law enforcement personnel.
