Glowing Object Reported Hovering Over Helsinki Finland in 1970

In the summer of 1970, residents across Helsinki Finland began reporting sightings of a strange glowing object in the night sky.

Eyewitness accounts described a disc shaped craft that hovered silently above rooftops and streets before moving away at high speed without sound.

Several police officers on duty noted the object and filed official reports detailing its unusual flight characteristics and lack of engine noise.

The incident drew attention from local authorities but no conventional explanation such as aircraft or weather phenomena was identified.

This case remains one of the documented UFO reports from Finland during that era with multiple credible civilian and law enforcement witnesses.
