Glowing Sphere With Figures Inside Seen Over Canary Islands

On the evening of June 22 1976 residents across the Canary Islands in Spain reported a spectacular sight in the night sky. A large glowing sphere estimated to be over 100 meters in diameter appeared and hovered silently.

The object was described as transparent with a bright outer glow allowing witnesses to see inside where two humanoid figures were visible. A Spanish Air Force pilot on a routine flight encountered the sphere at close range and radioed detailed observations to ground control.

The pilot noted the craft moved with incredible speed and precision before vanishing. Official reports were filed by both military and civilian authorities documenting the event. Multiple independent witnesses from different islands provided consistent descriptions reinforcing the credibility of the sighting.

This incident remains one of the most well documented UFO cases in European history with no conventional explanation ever identified.
