NATO Pilots Spot Disc UFO Over Fleet During Mainbrace

Operation Mainbrace was a major NATO naval exercise held in September 1952 involving ships and aircraft from multiple nations operating in the North Atlantic.

On September 19 a silver disc shaped object was observed by crew members aboard the British aircraft carrier HMS Eagle as well as by pilots conducting flight operations.

The object moved at high speed and performed maneuvers beyond known aircraft capabilities of the era.

Additional sightings occurred over the following days including a cigar shaped craft tracked by radar and visual observers.

Official reports were compiled by military authorities and the incidents were later documented in declassified files.

These events represent one of the earliest multi national military UFO encounters on record.
