Patrol Car Hit By Bright UFO Light In Minnesota 1979

On the night of August 27 1979 Deputy Val Johnson of the Marshall County Sheriffs Office was patrolling near Warren Minnesota when he noticed a bright white light hovering above the road.

As he approached the light suddenly accelerated toward his vehicle striking the front end. Johnson reported being temporarily blinded and losing consciousness briefly.

Upon regaining awareness he found his patrol car had been moved and showed significant damage including a cracked windshield bent antennas and a broken headlight. The clock in the car was also 14 minutes slow suggesting possible missing time.

The incident was thoroughly investigated by local authorities and ufologists with photos and measurements taken of the damage. No conventional explanation such as a meteor or aircraft was found.

This case remains one of the most credible police encounters with physical evidence supporting the UFO sighting.
