Scoutmaster Encounters Landed Disc Near Florida Boy Scouts in 1952

On the evening of August 19 1952 near West Palm Beach Florida scoutmaster D S Desvergers was leading a group of boy scouts when he observed a strange object descend into a wooded area.

Leaving the boys behind he approached the site and later described a disc shaped craft on the ground along with a terrifying close encounter involving a being that emitted a mist.

The incident was reported to authorities and became one of the early cases investigated by the United States Air Force Project Blue Book.
