Witnesses Burned After Diamond UFO Chase With Helicopters in Texas

On the evening of December 29 1980 Betty Cash was driving with Vickie Landrum and her seven year old grandson Colby near Huffman Texas when they spotted a large diamond shaped craft hovering above the road.

The object emitted intense heat and flames from its base while emitting a loud beeping sound. As they watched the craft ascended and was soon surrounded by more than twenty military style helicopters that appeared to escort it away.

The witnesses experienced immediate physical effects including severe burns skin peeling and eye irritation. Betty Cash later suffered hair loss and required hospitalization.

The incident was reported to authorities and investigated by UFO researchers including the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization. No official government explanation was ever provided though the presence of the helicopters suggested military involvement.

The Cash Landrum case remains one of the most compelling UFO encounters due to the physical evidence and multiple credible witnesses.
